Next Meeting: To Be Determined

NEIU SPS MEMBERS

To become an active member of NEIU's SPS chapter the procedure is simple - PARTICIPATE! Attend a meeting and you're a member. Volunteer for an event and you're a member. It's that easy! Being an NEIU student and studying physics are NOT requirements.

If you want to become an active NEIU SPS member with voting priveleges, you will have to attend regular meetings. However, voting is only used for the allocation of funds and election of officers, so the average member is not adversely affected if they cannot vote. For information on requirements for becoming a voting member and maintaining this status, please read the appropriate section in our Bylaws page.

Active membership means everything to an organization like this. With that in mind, here's a list of our current members:

Notes about the NEIU SPS Members List:

  • This list is updated as the NEIU SPS Webmaster is informed of changes.
  • Active members will be kept on this list for a period of one year from their last attended meeting or event, or upon request from the member to be removed from the list.
  • Requests for removal MUST BE submitted from the e-mail address the member has listed under their account.
  • To submit a request for removal or addition, please e-mail any of the NEIU SPS Officers, and we will process your request as quickly as possible.
  • If a member requests removal from the list prior to the expiration of the one-year period following their last attended meeting or event, then later becomes active again (or requests to be re-added), there will be NO AFFECT on the member's voting status (if he/she is already a voting member). This is only a published list, not an official document. The requirements for status as a voting member are established by the NEIU SPS Bylaws, not inclusion in or exclusion from this published list.
