Steve Burkland |
WEBMASTERSteve Burkland is a Physics major in senior standing. He has been a student of NEIU since (MONTH YEAR). He has been an outstanding member of the SPS since January 2008, and has brought an amazing amount of energy and enthusiasm, as well as incredible ideas for projects and programs, to the chapter. Steve was a top promoter and organizer, and an anchor volunteer, for the Fly Day 2008 event. He manned the information desk, hawking the organization to all who could hear him, for nearly the entire event, leaving only briefly to take one of his final exams. Steve has spent countless hours of free-time designing and authoring the new NEIU SPS website. Steve initially ran for the Secretary office, tying in votes with the current secretary, Narin. Instead of having to put either of them out in a run-off election, Steve unselfishly stepped down as Secretary to volunteer as the Webmaster -- an opportunity to create a lasting piece of the NEIU SPS that will be here long after he's gone himself. Steve's educational interests are (EDUCATIONAL INTERESTS). |
